Workshop hand tools organisation and workbench

the commissioning process

The process begins with a chat about what you are looking for, your budget, any ideas that you may want incorporated and the timescales involved. The more information you can provide at this stage, the better Sandy can tailor the designs to your requirements and to the space in which the piece will sit. Pictures of what you like/dont like and the room where the piece will sit are ideal ways to help communicate this.

Once the brief is established Sandy will develop several concepts and options. Whenever possible Sandy will arrange to show you these in person and will often combine this with a visit to see where the piece will go. From this discussion a final design will be generated with and accompanying final quote.

If you are happy and wish to proceed with the piece then a 50% deposit is required to schedule your piece into the workshop schedule. Once the build commences Sandy will update you with a weekly email and will often share images from the workshop on his social media. The remaining balance is due when the piece is ready to leave the workshop and be delivered to its new home.
